Being away from home for a long time is an opportunity to return and view it with fresh eyes, rediscover the land and it’s beauty. Cyprus is what I will always call “home”, even when I am far away and for a long time. There is something about the texture of the air; thick, dusty and humid, that hits you in the face the moment you land the island and that is the first welcoming sign. Travelling to the mountains, the landscape changes dramatically.

The landscape is unique in its character - withstanding blistering summers only to bloom in winter time. It’s rich history, modern and ancient, have scared the landscape in a way that make it uniquely cypriot.

I tried to captured the drama of the landscape, intertwined with the history.
